We all like freebies right? Well, within reason of course. That being said, I think we can all agree that free video games and DLC is often too much of a good deal to turn down.

Whether it’s PlayStation Plus, Xbox Game Pass, the Epic Games Store or Steam, it’s often nice to have a freebie come our way, once in a while. After all, when in a cost-of-living crisis, it’s particularly handy to save a few quid in times of hardship.

The latest batch of free video game goodness is courtesy of Steam and it includes a massive real-time strategy series. So, what are the freebies that we can claim today, I hear you ask? The free downloads are for popular free-to-play games, World of Warships, World of Tanks and World of Warplanes from publisher Wargaming.

First, the free download for World of Warships is the ‘25 Years of Wargaming’ DLC pack. This free DLC includes one Tactical Special container, three Steam expendable camouflages, three Smouldering Fire expendable camouflages, and the World of Wargaming patch symbol.

Next up is the ‘Wargaming Party’ DLC pack for World of Tanks. This DLC pack includes one day of WoT Premium Account, two Personal Reserves (+50% bonus to Combat XP for one hour) and Personal Reserves (+200% bonus to Free XP and Crew XP for one hour).

Finally, for World of Warplanes fans, you will be treated to the ‘Blériot-SPAD S.510’ DLC pack. This includes the Blériot-SPAD S.510, a French Tier II fighter. An additional Hangar slot that allows you to store your warbird as well as a fully trained pilot, a unique paint scheme that provides an additional advantage in battles, and three days of Premium account.

If you’re not content with free DLC packs for the three massive RTS games featured in this article, then fear not. Epic Games is giving away two critically acclaimed games for free, however, that giveaway ends today! What’s more, a new addition to Sony’s PS Plus subscription service is being described as a ‘10/10’ that gamers cannot stop raving about.

If you want to claim all of the free DLC packs for World of Warships, World of Tanks and World of Warplanes, then you better act fast to avoid disappointment as the offer is only available from 2 August to 8 August 2023.
