PlayStation Plus drops new free games worth over £600

PlayStation Plus drops its new free games and it has a total worth of over £600.

PlayStation Plus drops its new free games and it has a total worth of over £600 across all subscription tiers.

Recently the latest PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium games were announced for May 2023 and it includes some absolute bangers. It includes the likes of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Dishonored 2 and its expansion, Death of the Outsider, the rebooted Tomb Raider trilogy, Watch Dogs: Legion, The Evil Within 2 and more.

It seems that most Reddit users are happy with this month's offerings and it has been the topic of discussion on a thread.

“Legitimately will play a bunch of these. Great month. Glad more people may play Conan. Best survival game on ps imo, better with friends,” said Reddit user dima_socks. “Sakuna, Tomb Raider and rune factory as well, big month and not just with the headliners. Super impressed, much more so than with the monthly games we had last week,” added renodc.

In fact, some gamers are so happy with this month's line-up, that some believe that it’s now surpassed Xbox Game Pass. “Am I crazy for thinking PS Plus extra is better than Game Pass right now?” replied ShinSekai3d.

At this point in time, there’s little question that all PlayStation Plus subscription tiers offer good value for money. Just considering the cost per month it starts from £7/$10 for the Essential tier or £11/$15, £13.50/$18 per month for Extra and Premium, respectively.
