It’s that time when Sony announces its next batch of gaming goodness coming to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium this month.

Earlier this month, the PlayStation Plus Essential titles for July 2025 became available which included Activision Blizzard goliath Diablo IV, as well as another couple of delightful games.

All in all, PlayStation Plus Essential offered a solid month for those who subscribe to the basic tier and let’s be honest, not all PS Plus subscribers have been that impressed with Sony’s offerings of late.

With the PlayStation Plus Essential tier, you can keep the games in your library forever, as long as you have an active subscription. Unless, in the unlikely event, a publisher decides to remove a game from the service for whatever reason.

As for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium, subscribers get a much larger choice of games to play, although most games in both tiers come and go on a rotational basis.

With that in mind, Sony has announced the latest games coming to both PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tiers. As always, PS Plus Premium includes additional bonus games for the classics catalogue.

It’s fair to say that PS Plus Extra and Premium offer some absolute bangers. Perhaps the headline title this month has to be CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077 - and maybe a game that might pleasantly surprise some is Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden from developer DON’T NOD.

The full list of the games coming to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium can be found below:

  • Cyberpunk 2077 (PS5/PS4) - available 9 July
  • Abiotic Factor (PS5) - available 22 July
  • Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden (PS5)
  • Bluey: The Videogame (PS5/PS4)
  • Planet Zoo (PS5) - available 15 July
  • Risk of Rain 2 (PS5/PS4)
  • Tropico 6 (PS5/PS4)
  • New World: Aeternum (PS5)
  • Twisted Metal 3 (PS5/PS4)
  • Twisted Metal 4 (PS5/PS4)

All of the above games will be available on Tuesday, 15 July 2025 except for those with specific dates listed. Hopefully, at least one of the above will tickle your fancy.
