We’ve not long seen the Days of Play for PlayStation, which championed playing games on the Sony consoles, and we’re now entering into another reason to celebrate.

July 2025 marks the 15-year anniversary of PlayStation Plus launching, and Sony is starting the festivities by giving us three great games to play.

These titles are part of your PlayStation Plus Essential subscription, so they can be downloaded and played right now, and the celebrations will continue as the months runs on.

I will always champion Diablo IV, which to me is the headliner this month.

The game had a bit of a rocky start, but constant updates have turned it into a brilliant ARPG with a dark story, and plenty to sink your teeth into.

Sadly, it doesn’t come with the DLC, Vessel of Hatred, but that took the game even further, so if you enjoy the base game, I’d recommend you pick up the DLC and try out the new character class and map expansion.

Jusant is also wonderful, but in a very different way, as it’s an indie game that has you climbing mountains after a civilisation has moved on from once living on the peaks.

There are some lovely moments that feel meditative, and the core gameplay of shimmying up steep climbs is both relaxing and puzzling.

The third game, which I’ve not played despite owning it since release, is King of Fighters XV.

As the name suggests, this is a fighting game with a long and celebrated history, and this latest instalment is reportedly one of the best.

It looks stunning in motion, so if you’re eager to throw some hands, then get this one downloaded.

Sony has said they will continue the month with tournaments, exciting PlayStation news, and there may even be a few more surprises.
