Steam’s 2026 Summer Sale is now live, and as usual, there are some damn good deals on offer.

The future of gaming looks set to be all-digital thanks to PlayStation shelving its physical game production in 2028. Xbox is likely to follow suit, though Nintendo will probably just do its own thing as always.

Fortunately, Steam users have grown accustomed to digital media and unlike the PlayStation and Xbox stores, the discounts are actually decent.

Below are some of the best Steam sale deals your money can buy, perfect to play on your shiny new Steam Machine, if you can actually get one…

Cyberpunk 2077

Kicking with probably the best deal on this list, we have Cyberpunk 2077. If you’ve never been to Night City before or hit a speedy u-turn when you first played the game at launch, we’d implore you to play it now.

It’s come a long way and right now, it’s being offered at the record-low price of $17.99/£14.99. Thanks to this strong deal, and the upcoming release of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Season 2, more gamers are playing than ever, which is the strongest case we’ve seen for why the game needs another Song of the Past-esque expansion soon.

Metro Saga Bundle

When talking about value for money, you simply can’t sleep on the Metro Saga Bundle. Three whole games plus DLC for a mere $5.04/£4.50.

With Metro 2039 coming out later this year, this is the best time to dive into this legendary survival series if you haven’t already, in one complete package.

Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2

Those who long to return to the good old days of single-player shooters should invest in Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2.

No prior knowledge of the Warhammer 40k lore or mythos is needed, nor do you need to have played the first game. You can jump straight into and enjoy a Halo meets Doom-esque sci-fi shooter that may just spark your interest in the tabletop game.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

We’d imagine plenty of gamers own a copy of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt already, but those that don’t can now grab the full game for $3.99/£2.49, or a little extra for the Complete Edition if you want DLC included.

It’s a great time to play too, as 10 years after its launch the game is getting a brand-new expansion called Song of the Past.

DOOM: The Dark Ages

This week, the first DLC expansion for Doom: The Dark Ages launched. Revelations presents players with a Doomslayer at his most vulnerable, requiring you to build up a mighty arsenal to rip and tear through demons with.

The full game is available through Xbox Game Pass, but those who don’t have it can now acquire the full game for $23.09/£23.09, which is a bargain if you ask us.

Dead Space (2023)

Next is Dead Space (2023), one of the greatest survival games ever made, remade for a new and returning audience.

Unfortunately, a remake of the second game is a pipe dream according to the devs, but if you’d like to change that, grab yourself a copy for $5.99/£4.99 and shout about how good it is online.

Watch Dogs 2

Gamers moved on from Watch Dogs 2 far too quickly, but fortunately, its player count has remained pretty consistent over the years.

Now that it’s $2.49/£2.49, more players than ever can explore this stunning and interactive recreation of San Francisco.

The Invincible

Last but not least is The Invincible. This narrative-driven adventure isn’t a high-budget AAA and yet it’s impressed thousands of gamers with its intriguing story and gorgeous visuals.

Thanks to the Steam Summer Sale, it’s currently priced at $2.99/£2.49, which is incredible value for such an underrated gem

Altogether, the above games make up some of the best deals you’ll find in the current sale, but we’re only scratching the surface.
