PlayStation’s latest sale is now live on the PS Store with its ‘Next Level Savings’ discounts that you can claim right now for a limited time.
The ‘Next Level Savings’ promotion has a plethora of discounts for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 games, as well as some DLC and upgrades that you may have fancied, but didn't quite fancy paying the full asking price.
There are tons of savings to be made, and out of the hundreds of PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 games on offer, I’ve picked out 12 of the best deals that might pique your interest.
Before we proceed, for whatever reason, despite the UK and US having the same ‘Next Level Savings’ promotion, Mortal Kombat 1: Definitive Edition and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition are only discounted in the UK at the time of writing.

Dead Island 2 is the long-awaited sequel to the original game, released in 2011, developed by Techland. Set in the sunny climates of Los Angeles, California, now developed by Dambuster Studios, Dead Island 2 improves on its predecessor in almost every way with deeper gameplay, a larger map, gorgeous visuals and more fun ways to slay the zombie hordes. I’ll add that you don’t need knowledge of the original game to enjoy the sequel. If you want silly, gory fun, then this game is for you.
Do you wanna play a zombie game? Originally released in 2015, Dying Light was seen as somewhat of a spiritual successor to Dead Island. Also developed by Techland, Dying Light not only has gorgeously gruesome visuals and deep combat mechanics, but it also blends fun parkour gameplay that puts Assassin’s Creed to shame. This version of the game also includes the free PS5 upgrade and a ton of DLC at no extra cost.
Hogwarts Legacy is the best-selling game of 2023, and for good reason, it's a fantastic action RPG inspired by Harry Potter’s Wizarding World. Set in the 1890s, you play as a student mysteriously enrolled in the fifth academic year. This version of the game comes bundled with the ‘Hogsmeade Shop Quest’, ‘Dark Arts Pack’ and the ‘Dark Arts Garrison Hat’.
Developed by Tarsier Studios, the creators of the newly released Reanimal, without giving too much away, Little Nightmares is one of the most disturbing and vulnerable horrors you’ll ever play. It has horrific monsters, solid puzzles, all set in the uncomfortable location of The Maw. This enhanced edition has improved textures, shadows, lighting and performance. For just £4, this is an absolute steal!

The legendary fighting series returns, and arguably, it’s never been better (or more brutal) than what it is in the latest release. The world of Mortal Kombat has been rebooted (literally), in an effort to make it a better place; however, that doesn't quite go according to plan. This version of the game also includes all previously released DLC in one low-priced bundle.
Two of the greatest games of all-time, you can pick up Rockstar Games’ Red Dead Redemption and Red Dead Redemption 2 in this tidy bundle. By proxy, this also includes Red Dead Online as it's part of RDR2. What’s more, the original game from 2011 in this bundle is the enhanced PS5 version. If, for whatever reason, you’ve never played these Wild West classics, now is the perfect time.
This is the remaster of the criminally underrated open-world game of 2011. Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition has improved visuals, performance and all previously released DLC. It can be described as GTA in Hong Kong. Its story centres around an undercover cop, Wei Shen, who aims to bring down the Triad from within. Its story will keep you hooked from start to finish, and if you love John Woo action movies, there’s a good chance that you’ll love Sleeping Dogs too.
Despite its woeful launch in 2017, thanks to its egregious microtransactions, in recent months, Star Wars Battlefront II has had somewhat of a resurgence. Its story campaign is befitting of any movie set in the galaxy far, far away, and its multiplayer modes are an absolute blast. Oh, and yes, the loot box controversy has long been fixed. If you were put off by its launch, at this price, Star Wars Battlefront II is worth considering giving a second chance.
One of the most beloved and popular fantasy RPGs of all-time, Skyrim is a true timeless classic. Whether it's the main story missions, side-quests, random NPC interactions or treasure hunting, Skyrim is the kind of game that can provide memories for a lifetime. This version of the game has improved visuals, performance and all previously released DLC. So if you’re new to Tamriel or someone who played the 2011 original, this Special Edition is worth a punt.

When The Last of Us first arrived on the PS3 in 2013, it instantly became one of the greatest video games of all time. Set in a post-apocalyptic world, the cordyceps fungal outbreak has plagued our world, turning humans into ravaging, mindless zombies with a singular purpose of spreading the virus. To be as vague as possible, it’s a story of a man, Joel, shaped by tragedy, who learns what it’s like to be a loving father when a girl, Ellie, comes into his life.
I know this is the PlayStation 4 version of the game from 2014, and you might think, “Why should I play this when we have the 2022 PS5 remake?” The answer to that is the awesome Factions online multiplayer mode, not available in the remake. It’s a brilliant mode that combines third-person action with the survival and crafting elements of the main game, where players must work as a team to survive and grow stronger. The last time I checked, the servers are still online, and if you want to play Factions today, this is how.
It’s the 10th anniversary of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, originally released in 2016 on PlayStation 4. This bundle includes remasters of not only the main game, but its spin-off, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. The PS4 versions still look great today, but with improved visuals and performance, this is the definitive way to enjoy these two classics today. While it’s not on sale at the time of writing, you can usually pick up the remastered trilogy, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, for about £8/$9, so it might be worth adding it to your PS Store wishlist, ready for the next price drop.
I can’t say enough kind words about the Yakuza series. You’ll never play a series of games that combines seriousness and silliness quite like this. Each game has lovable protagonists such as Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima that you will fall for instantly, enticing open worlds, high-octane combat, awesome side-quests and mini-games, gripping stories and much more.
In total, Yakuza Complete Series features seven games, including the PlayStation 5 enhanced versions for Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2 (the newly launched Yakuza Kiwani 3 is its own release). At £69 (nice) and $78, it’s not cheap, but that works out to about £9.80/$11 per game, which is not bad value at all. Trust me, if you’ve never played this series and you pick up this collection, you won't regret it.
The ‘Next Level Savings’ sale ends on Wednesday, 27 May 2026.
