The release of Phantom Blade Zero is nearly upon us, and if you’re still deciding which version to pre-order, then we’ve got you covered, and we’ll let you know if it has a Collector’s Edition.
Phantom Blade Zero is a brand-new, high-octane action RPG from the Chinese studio S-Game, and it’s inspired by Chinese mythology and folklore. While some may assume it to be the latest Soulslike, it might have a stronger comparison to the hack-and-slash gameplay of the Devil May Cry series with a hint of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
What is Phantom Blade Zero about?
“Framed for murdering his master, Soul suffers a devastating wound to the heart, leaving him just sixty-six days to live. Alone and hunted, he roams the Wulin, determined to unravel a conspiracy that has ensnared the martial world,” reads the synopsis of the game. “Through rain and blood, kindness and vengeance, he embarks on a journey where love and hatred intertwine in search of a heart.”

Here’s what versions of Phantom Blade Zero you can buy
Standard Edition - £54.99/$59.99
Advert
This is exactly as described; it’s the base game. However, it does still come with some bonus pre-order content, but more on that a little later.
Deluxe Edition - £64.99/$69.99
This version comes with the base game, as well as the following DLC: Wulin Legend Outfit, Blood-Steel Form Outfit, Digital Artbook and a Digital Soundtrack.
Phantom Blade Zero is available to pre-order on Steam, the PlayStation Store and the Epic Games Store.

Phantom Blade Zero pre-order DLC
Rather than being actual DLC such as an outfit or weapons, it’s unfortunately just an early unlock. Those early unlocks are the ‘Treasure Basin’ accessory and the ‘Legacy’ outfit.
Given the nature of this content, if you don’t pre-order the game and this content is no longer available when you do pick it up, it doesn't matter all that much, because you can still unlock it by playing the game.
There is a proper piece of pre-order DLC, but it’s only really worth something if you play the free-to-play battle royale, Fortnite. If you pre-order Phantom Blade Zero on the Epic Games Store, you’ll receive the Soul Outfit.
Will Phantom Blade Zero have a Collector’s Edition?
Yes, there is a Collector’s Edition for Phantom Blade Zero, but there is a major caveat. It’s exclusive to China, at least for now. As shared in a Reddit post by venom_159, the Phantom Blade Zero Collector’s Edition comes with:
- A copy of the game
- A posable action figure of the protagonist with swappable parts.
- "Flaming Lion Head" necklace
- "White Python and Crimson Flame" keychain
- A “Weapon Codex”, which is basically a snazzy art book of sorts
Going by current conversion rates, the price of the Phantom Blade Zero Collector’s Edition works out to be around £131/$177. But that would be without taxes, delivery, and import costs.
This Collector’s Edition has only recently been revealed, so it remains to be seen whether or not it will eventually become available in other regions. If it does, it might be safe to expect a rounded-off price of about £140-$150/$180-$200. It's also very likely that it will include DLC of some sort. If the Collector's Edition does get confirmed for other regions, we'll update this article.
Will Phantom Blade Zero be available on a physical disc?
At the moment, no. It’s a digital-only game, and that includes a code that comes with the Phantom Blade Zero Collector’s Edition.
Phantom Blade Zero will be released on PC and PlayStation 5 on October 29, 2026.
