If you want to know what’s included in all the versions of Halo: Campaign Evolved, then we’ve got you covered with this handy guide.
When it comes to famous first-person shooter franchises, it doesn't get much bigger than Xbox’s Halo series, which made its debut on the original Microsoft console all the way back in November 2001. Now, to celebrate the series 25th anniversary, Halo: Combat Evolved is getting a full remake, built from the ground up using Unreal Engine 5.
Halo: Campaign Evolved is not to be confused with the official remaster of 2011, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary for PC and Xbox 360. Now that the little confusion is out of the way, here’s what you can buy next month

No matter which version of Halo: Campaign Evolved you pre-order, you will receive the ‘Foundry Armory Pack’. This includes classic 2001-inspired skins for the Mark V Armor, the Assault Rifle Skin, Gilded Onyx Armor and the Gilded Onyx Assault Rifle. This DLC will also be available to Xbox Game Pass subscribers.
The standard edition of Halo: Campaign Evolved, available at retail on a physical disc and digitally, comes with the game and pre-order DLC. It has an RRP of £49.99/$49.99. Sadly, the currency conversion rate isn't taken into account for the UK. So, if UK gamers switched regions on their consoles and purchased the game from the US store, it would only cost about £37 to £38.

This version of the game grants you five days of early access to Halo: Campaign Evolved starting on 23 July 2026, or the more cynical approach would be, you’d get it five days late if you chose the cheapest version.

The Premium Edition includes the Alpha Halo Armor Pack, which has five Master Chief skins and six weapon skins. It also comes with the Digital Story and Art Collection, which features the short story ‘Halo: Hungry Buzzards’, which is a prequel to the three new in-game missions, Operation: Meteorite.
The Halo: Campaign Evolved has an RRP of £69.99/$69.99, but if UK gamers switch regions on their consoles, it will cost just around £52.

Now, if you love the Halo series more than most, then you might want to pick up this stunning Collector’s Edition for Campaign Evolved. However, at the time of writing, it is sold out on the Xbox Game Studios Shop. But you can provide an email address to be notified if it comes back in stock.
The Halo: Campaign Evolved Collector’s Edition includes everything that comes with the Premium Edition, but also a 12” statue of Master Chief, created by Dark Horse. A light-up LED Cortana Chip, a steelbook case, three concept art prints and a physical manual inspired by the original 2001 game. Oh, and a physical disc for Xbox and PlayStation. Steam is a digital code.
The Halo: Campaign Evolved Collector’s Edition has an RRP of £189.99/$199.99. Now, you could import this edition to the UK, which would bring the price down to around £153. However, you will get stung on postage and import taxes, so you’d be better off buying this one from your region.
Halo: Campaign Evolved will launch day one on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. But it won’t come to the other tiers until a currently unconfirmed later date.
Halo: Campaign Evolved will be released worldwide on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on 28 July 2026.
