PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers now have access to a fantastic, and exclusive, feature and it’s a game-changer.
Not too long ago, PlayStation made the exciting announcement that it’d be bolstering its PlayStation Plus subscription service with new games and new features, supposedly possible following the less-than-ideal price hike.

While fans have dismissed that claim as absolute rubbish, with many believing Sony has failed to justify the price increase so far, the latest feature added is undoubtedly a step in the right direction.

PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers will now be able to cloud stream a select number of games at no additional cost. The list of games is limited at the time of writing but will evolve to include more titles over the next few months, with access to PS5, PS4 and even older PlayStation titles.
Speaking about the new addition, PlayStation said cloud streaming is a great option if you want to “try a new game without waiting for a large download to finish, or jump to another new title from the Game Catalog if you can’t decide which one is for you.”
It’s also being marketed as a great way of saving hard drive space, with storage organisation being something many gamers are sick of nowadays.
Unfortunately, it’s not currently available to everyone, as certain regions are yet to receive access, much to the dismay of fans.

Also despite it being quite a handy feature, it hasn’t impressed the vast majority of subscribers, especially since many still don’t think it justifies the price hike, especially when Xbox Game Pass subscribers can cloud stream their games without having to pay for a higher tier membership.
PlayStation Plus cloud streaming is an exclusive feature for PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers only.
