Elden Ring fans will want to check out 'The Convergence', a mod which remixes the entire game with new content and challenges.
'The Convergence' is described as an “exhaustive overhaul of Elden Ring”, featuring a lot of new content like new spells, weapons, enemies, and bosses, as well as massively revamped areas and maps.
For example, the mod completely changes a lot of the dungeons in Elden Ring, tweaking enemy placements, boss spawns, and other key details about them.
Similarly, a lot of Elden Ring’s overworld has also changed, with new bosses, items, and progression added to add a new kind of challenge to the game’s already pretty brutal difficulty.

Update 3.0 for 'The Convergence' launched today, bringing with it a whole new host of content which Elden Ring players will want to check out for their next playthrough.
The main pointers of the patch include a big rebalance of the difficulty, making the curve a little more consistent while also keeping things trending upwards.
Developer AronTheBaron identified key parts of the mod where players were starting to find it a little too easy, and adjusted the balance accordingly to keep things relatively challenging. Classes were also rebalanced as a result, so new characters can face the intended difficulty when players begin the mod.
Meanwhile, 'The Convergence' Patch 3.0 also adds a new legacy dungeon called Noxumbra, and expands the already existing Midra’s Manse legacy dungeon. Many locations already featured in the mod have also been reworked, though the exact details on this have not been specified.

Elsewhere, the latest patch also makes a load of changes to bosses and enemies across the world of Elden Ring.
By our count, 18 new bosses have spawned into the world at varying locations, along with three new NPCs and a bunch of changed spawns for enemies.
Five new boss tracks have also been added for the bosses Konrad, Golden Hippopotamus, Quicksilver Husk, Vulgar Militia Chief, and Daergraf, Underworld Archmage. The boss tracks for Scion of the Sealed God, Romina, Saint of the Bud, and Lansseax have also been reworked.

This is, of course, in between all the rebalances and tweaks made to already existing bosses which populate the world of Elden Ring: The Convergence.
The full list of changes is absolutely massive, so we’d recommend reading the full changelog, which you can find here.
Elden Ring: The Convergence was originally released in April 2023, just over a year after the game was released, and it provided players with a big playtime extension thanks to the new content on offer.
If you’ve rinsed through the base version of Elden Ring a fair few times, we’d recommend installing The Convergence next to take things up a notch.
