Fans of Red Dead Redemption are in for a treat this week with a brand-new release already proving to be a big hit.

Despite Rockstar Games being hard at work on making sure Grand Theft Auto VI is shipped in 2025, it appears it has not forgotten about its other much-loved franchise.

Check out the trailer for the arrival of Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare to PC below!

Kicking off with Red Dead Revolver back in 2004, the Red Dead series has gone from strength to strength, with its most recent entry Red Dead Redemption 2, being widely considered as one of the best single-player games of all time.

Now to celebrate the upcoming release of Red Dead Redemption for PC, the 2010 action-adventure game will be joined by its Undead Nightmare counterpart.

“For the first time in its storied legacy, John Marston’s beloved journey can be experienced on PC in stunning, new detail, with both Red Dead Redemption and its iconic zombie-horror companion story, Undead Nightmare, arriving to PC on October 29,” the official blog post reads.

Originally released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 before later being added for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4, this marks the first time it will head to PC.

As you can imagine, fans are over the moon.

“Really interested in seeing how good this old game looks on modern hardware. I’m sure it won’t look amazing, but vs the launch consoles it’ll be night and day,” one comment read over on r/Games.

Another comment read: “This has been so long coming.

It should have been released last year but I guarantee that they knew people would double or even triple dip with the staggered release of PS4 and Switch last year.

Rockstar truly are the masters of getting people to repurchase ports.

Their games are just that good though. At least it's finally happening for PC players.”

With the majority of fans being excited with the news, despite it being a long time coming, it seems as though Red Dead Redemption’s PC port will be a big success when it launches tomorrow.
