Just because a game is free, it doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s worth playing, but Wobbly Heist is most definitely worth a brief segment of your time.
Developed by ISART Digital, Wobbly Heist is a free new puzzle platformer that’s landed on PC storefront Steam to a perfect rating of 100% from players.
It’s a game with a big sense of humour. You take control of three capybaras who are tasked with infiltrating a fashion event, so expect both stealth and puzzler elements.
“A prestigious fashion event is in full swing — and somewhere in the crowd, three very suspicious figures are making their way to the most coveted jewel in the city,” begins the synopsis.

“They walk like humans. They dress like humans. They are absolutely not humans. Wobbly Heist is a 3D stealth puzzle game set in a vibrant Central American-inspired city.
“Control a capybara mafia boss and his two loyal goons as they infiltrate the glamour of a high-end fashion event — disguised, stacked, and barely holding it together.”

Players are able to stack the three capybaras in order to occasionally pass as a human whilst in other sections of the game, you’ll need to split up to tackle multi-location puzzles.
One might need to distract a guard, for example, whilst another unlocks a door.
“Every section of the city brings new challenges. Coordinate, adapt, and find creative ways through without raising suspicion,” devs note.
The most important thing is that you never get spotted by security as that’ll send you back to the last checkpoint.
Don’t miss some of Steam’s other standout free offerings:
Listed under reasons of why you should love the game, devs say that it features “a charming blend of stealth and humour”, “a clever team-based disguise mechanic unlike anything else”, “a fun dynamic between a mafia boss and his two loyal goons”, and “whoopee cushions”.
Clearly, the formula is a great success because Wobbly Heist is sitting at a perfect player review score of 100% on Steam, correct at the time of writing.
“Super silly game and cool core mechanics,” wrote one happy player while another pointed out a brilliant plot twist, writing, “Super funny and cute puzzle/stealth game. Love the characters and the humour! The plot twist at the end is amazing.”
“Great visuals. Puzzles were fun and satisfying but simple. Soundtrack was also surprisingly quite nice and fit the vibes. Love the Boss,” read another review.

“This game has a lot of charm and a lot of humour. I love the goofiness of it, the walking animations, the quirky mechanics, and the fun puzzles,” said someone else. I’m sure you’re seeing the pattern of praise here.
By all accounts, it looks as if it shouldn’t take you very long to finish Wobbly Heist with reviewers having play times of anything from 15 to 45 minutes for full completion.
Considering almost all gamers have a hefty backlog these days that, let’s face it, we’re never going to defeat, this free game shouldn’t exacerbate the problem too much.
