Kynseed, the Stardew Valley-esque RPG made by former Fable developers Neal Whitehead and Charlie Edwards, has announced that it's coming to consoles.
Launched into Steam Early Access back in 2018, Kynseed has enjoyed a successful run on PC, which has now led it to confirm console ports on PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch.
Kynseed's console ports will launch later this summer and will also come to last-gen consoles in addition to the ones currently in rotation.
Since its full release in 2022, Kynseed has enjoyed thousands of players exploring and living within its titular world.

With two former Lionhead developers at the helm, it's easy to see why the game looks appealing.
It's got a nice blend of life-sim RPG elements that the Fable series is known for, combined with the beautiful pixel art that you see in games like Stardew Valley.
In Kynseed, you're tasked with raising a family, farming the land, and running a successful business from that land. Meanwhile, you explore a huge world which has been filled with colourful NPCs, where your actions and decisions can affect the state of the world as you play.
Over the years, Kynseed has received 10 major free updates, with the latest one (called The Tavern) releasing this week. Console players across Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch will be able to enjoy all of these updates, with newly-optimised console UI and controls also confirmed for the game when it launches on 4 August.

"The free Tavern Update is now live!" PixelCount Studios revealed earlier this week. "Serve refreshments, manage stock, hire staff and entertainers, and create a lively social hub that brings the people of Quill together.
"This much-requested new feature adds even more life, warmth and character to the world of Kynseed, making it the perfect time to return to your family legacy — or start a brand new one."
With Xbox Game Studios' Fable being delayed until next year, Kynseed might be coming out for consoles at the perfect time.
Over on Steam, the game is top-rated with a positive review rating of 82%.
Many of the reviews praise it for its life-sim elements and deep customisation, as well as the RPG features being included in meaningful ways.
"It's hard not to recommend this game, as it's just a linear upgrade of something that's already on the market," reads one positive Steam review from a player with 73 hours in the game.
"The game is cheeky and engaging. The crafting system incorporates everything I loved about Fable, and the storyline is pretty interesting," reads another positive review.
Whether that positive buzz will translate to the console versions remains to be seen, but it seems like the over-the-summer break might be the best time to get stuck into Kynseed's world.
