GTA 5 stunning 'photorealistic' graphics update drops, you can check it out now

GTA 5 stunning 'photorealistic' graphics update drops, you can check it out now

This looks almost as good as real life!

Maybe it’s because we’ve been staring longingly at the GTA VI trailer for months now, or maybe it’s just because we can’t help but imagine older games with modern graphics.

Whatever the reason why, we’d love a photorealistic overhaul of GTA V.

Although Rockstar Games gave us GTA V: Premium Edition, it didn’t deliver updated graphics.

Luckily, there are modders out there doing the work that Rockstar isn’t.

The YouTuber Digital Dreams has shown us what the world of GTA V with realistic visuals looks like, and we have to say, it looks stunning.

We might just cry – just like we did when we saw Red Dead Redemption recreated in the RDR2 game engine.

Take a look at this beautiful GTA V below

Despite Digital Dreams sharing the video, not all the mods used are by them, as the caption explains.

The ‘Reshade Preset’ is from them, but the ‘RewriteV’ is by Valkill.

This team effort is something to behold, though. But why just take our word for it – check it out for yourselves.

GTA VI take notes,” jokes one fan, though we feel it’s a joke that has the ring of truth to it.

Let’s face it, if Rockstar fails to deliver the GTA VI we’ve all been waiting for for what feels like the last 87 years, then there will be hell to pay.

Even though this graphics update for one of the most beloved titles in the series is entertaining, it won’t be able to remove the sting that a poor sequel will leave behind.

Speaking of GTA V downloads, there are some that’ll allow you to return to Liberty City; we can all agree that this is a must for die-hard fans.

Liberty City will always have that special something.

More unusual, enigmatic twists await us yet before the next game launches. You can wait it out by playing modded experiences like the one shown, or you can rock in a corner while staring at your cork board, laughing.

We know which idea we prefer...
