The wait for Grand Theft Auto VI may feel never-ending but at least the pain can be somewhat alleviated today thanks to a brand-new update arriving for Grand Theft Auto V.
There may still be just over nine months to go until we can get our hands on Grand Theft Auto VI (as long as no other delays arise) but with fans hyped for the first Grand Theft Auto instalment in over a decade, hype surrounding the Rockstar franchise continues to build.
That is why now is the perfect time to dive into Grand Theft Auto V and with a brand-new update making the 2013 game better than ever, you can’t miss out on all of the chaos it has to offer.
Available now, Rockstar has finally added NVIDIA’s DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation support to Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced.

It will arrive alongside a new Game Ready Driver which will not only add improvements to GTA V Enhanced but also Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II.
The new DLSS upgrade will work alongside GTA V’s current ray-tracing capabilities by allowing players to enable Multi Frame Generation and additional frames which will work to make the game look and run a whole lot smoother.
As for NVIDIA’s new 580.97 Game Ready driver, it can be downloaded on the official NVIDIA website for absolutely free.
Of course, this update does not add any additional content to the game and may only make small changes that are barely recognisable.

However, it just goes to show that Rockstar is still dedicated to working on GTA V as its player base continues to impress years after it was first launched.
As for Grand Theft Auto VI, it is still on track to be released on 26 May 2026 for Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 and fans hope that a brand-new trailer and content is on the way.
