Stardew Valley and Zelda fans, you may want to add this upcoming game to your wishlists.
Emberville is a new RPG coming to Steam where you need to help the residents of a town rebuild their home, all while exploring dungeons and nearby points of interest to collect materials to craft new items.
With a pitch like this, it certainly sounds like the Stardew Valley and The Legend of Zelda crossover we’ve all been dreaming of.
According to the game’s Steam page, there are a load of different characters to interact with, and you’ll get to know them over time as you rebuild Emberville.

It actually sounds like most of your time will be spent crawling dungeons though, as this is where all the materials and special items can be found that will help you to build up the town.
There’s also a lot of real-time combat too. It’s a dungeon so of course there are mobs to fight, and the crafting element will also come into play to create new equipment and upgrade it.

Emberville is still in development, and doesn’t have a release date set just yet. It will be coming to Steam Early Access though for roughly about 12 months.
Similar to the game’s premise, it’s expected that Cygnus Cross will be building the game up with new content and features as the early access period continues.
As the developer writes: “While we aspire to continue refining the game post-release, based on the current roadmap, we estimate a period of 12 months to attain a comprehensive level of content, features, and polish, marking it as a complete experience. However, community involvement may introduce unforeseen features, potentially extending this timeline.
“The finalized version of the game will exhibit heightened polish and incorporate additional features such as modding support through the workshop, improved optimization, expanded difficulty options, better balance, advanced creative area implementation, formidable bosses, diverse biomes, a variety of monsters, and much more. The planned feature set for release remains flexible, subject to adjustments based on community feedback.”
