Inspired by the farming sim sensation Stardew Valley whilst also hiding some elements of The Legend of Zelda franchise, this upcoming open-world RPG has captured our attention.

Developed by DreamSpaceEra, Sunshine Story is an upcoming open-world farming simulation title where players can team up with friends to explore magical islands.

Much like Stardew Valley, players will need to build and run their dream homestead, all whilst heading to the mysterious mines for resources, raising adorable animals, and most importantly, adventuring with friends to the most far-flung places.

However, be ready for The Legend of Zelda-style combat as you embark on an adventure to battle the Guardian Dragon but fear not, you will also be able to befriend the local magical pets.

Launched back in August, Sunshine Story features everything you could possibly want from a farming sim with an action twist.

Players can encounter over 80 unique pets, many of which can evolve into their variant forms. Not only that but you will be able to capture and raise them on your homestead to let them become your most trusted companion.

Whether alone or with friends, you will be able to roam an expansive open-world consisting of multiple islands from lush grasslands to snow-capped mountains and fairy-tale forests.

In Sunshine Story, you will be able to let your imagination run wild as you craft a truly unique home thanks to over 300 types of building materials. As a result, there are endless possibilities to how you build your bustling homestead.

Explore Alone or With Three Friends

Invite up to three friends and take to the various islands across the Sunbeam Isles and venture deep into over 20 unique designed caves across the world. With over 60 monster types to encounter, you will have to guard your precious resources and confront the Guardian Dragon if you wish to return with your loot.

Whether you are adopting animals from the local farmer, trading with merchants littered across the archipelagos, seeking out special seeds across the world or sharing in the joyful moments with friends, Sunshine Story has it all and more.
