Have you ever been running around the streets of Night City and thought to yourself that a Marvel touch was needed?

No? Me neither but after seeing this new free mod, I cannot help but wonder why this has not existed all along. In this brand-new free mod, Cyberpunk 2077 meets the Marvel Cinematic Universe with players now able to wield their weapons like never before.

Let us face it, one of the best parts of Cyberpunk 2077 was uncovering some of the RPG’s most iconic weapons for the first time.

The thermal katana is just one of those memorable weapons for those choosing a melee build and it also served for some fantastic images when CD Projekt RED added a photo mode to the game.

However, what if melee builds could be even more exciting and badass?

Well, that is now possible thanks to Throwable Telekinesis, a brand-new Cyberpunk 2077 mod added to Nexus Mods earlier this week.

Created by dnbnhlp, Throwable Telekinesis (Infinite Throw) will allow V to retrieve their throwable weapon by using a telekinesis-based power.

If you are a fan of Marvel, think Thor with Mjölnir.

If not, think Remedy Entertainment’s Control or 2018’s God of War.

Put simply, V will now be able to throw out her melee weapon at will and pull it back with one simple button press.

I don’t know about you but this will make combat a whole lot more exciting, especially if you are able to keep receiving your weapon back and throwing it out to take down multiple enemies at once.

Adjust to your liking

The mod will also allow you to tweak its settings, controlling the amount of time that a weapon will be “locked” before you can retrieve it.

If you want to add a bit of realism (or as realistic as it can get here), you can up the timer to stop yourself being too overpowered.

If not, switch that timer right down and throw that weapon out as fast and as often as you like.

The Throwable Telekinesis (Infinite Throw) was inspired by one comment which the modder has included on the official download page.

“It would be really cool if someone could find a way to retrieve on button press. Things always feel more satisfying when there's manual control over it. - mikegrauohr.”

If you are still unsure if this is the mod for you, you can find a short video showcasing the new ability here and I don’t know about you, but I think it looks pretty cool.

Throwable Telekinesis (Infinite Throw) is available to download for Cyberpunk 2077 on PC right now.
