This brand new Cyberpunk 2077 expansion puts you up against some of the grossest, most inhuman people in the entirety of Night City… landlords.
If CD Projekt RED’s last update for Cyberpunk 2077 wasn’t as content-heavy as you may have liked, then today’s example is likely exactly the kind of addition you were hoping for.
As spotted by Dark Side of Gaming’s John Papadopoulos, the new Eviction Notice mod for Cyberpunk 2077 by Nexus Mods author DarkFortuneTeller adds some new quest stuff, fresh character interactions, and even a completely unique property rental system.
As DarkFortuneTeller notes in the mod description, Eviction Notice is absolutely filled to the brim with new content, including “450+ new text messages” and an “eclectic cast of real estate agents, chat bots, and landlords.”

Plus, it sounds like there’s some unique interactions regarding exactly how you choose to pay your rent. Refusing to pay your bills to certain landlords is apparently the only way you can truly experience everything that Eviction Notice has to offer.
Here’s what the commenters over on Nexus Mods have to say about the mod.
“Started a new playthrough right as this was posted and it's been such a cool addition!” commented user hehnl.
“Alongside dark future, "take a breather" and some others, you really feel the day to day pace of being in night city and all it demands of you. Love the text message interactions, they feel so natural! Amazing work.”

“Been wanting this as a feature in the game forever”, replied user rocmar.
“Thanks for finally implementing it in such a cool & seamless way. Also, works on 2.21.”
I’m just hoping that there’s an option to meet these landlords face to face, because I feel like that would be cathartic for a lot of us in this day and age.
At the very least, I hope some of the text options allow me to send expletives.
