The Legend Of Zelda is arguably the best game Nintendo ever made, so it’s nice to see the company still giving it the respect it deserves.

There are many different versions of Ocarina Of Time that you can play, from the original on the Nintendo 64 to the port on Nintendo Switch Online.

We’re yet to receive a remake for the Nintendo Switch consoles and we likely never will but that’s okay because fans on PC are doing Nintendo’s work for it.

If you’re after an official Nintendo release though you’re in luck as the company is now teasing another LEGO set, and an exciting one at that.

The Legend Of Zelda was released in LEGO form last year with the Great Deku Tree set, which could be built in two ways. The first is more in-line with its modern appearance in The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild and The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom, whereas the other configuration is modelled after the Ocarina Of Time version.

Keeping that nostalgia is this new set, which will seemingly be a fully articulated Ganon model based on his final boss appearance in the Nintendo 64 game.

The teaser shows Link and Zelda, both of which sport their Ocarina Of Time looks, with an enormous shadow descending upon them.

It’s very clearly Ganondort in his demonic pig form, and if I had to guess it’ll probably be a similar build to the LEGO M

ighty Bowser model released in 2022, though perhaps a tad smaller.

Unlike the Super Mario LEGO sets which are more like toys than display pieces, the Legend Of Zelda sets are definitely built as shelf pieces.

Ganon is such an iconic gaming villain so it’s great to see him getting his own set, though I do hope there’s a minifigure included to represent his humanoid Ganondorf form as well, it’s only fair to have both halves of the villain present.

The future of Zelda

At the time of writing we have no new Zelda games on the horizon, though I’m sure one will be teased towards the end of this year, possibly with a late 2026 release date in mind.

Filming for the Legend Of Zelda live-action film is also due to begin soon, so we’ll be keeping an eye out for behind-the-scenes images to give us a clue as to which game is being adapted.
