The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is not just widely regarded as the best The Legend of Zelda title but is also considered as one of the best video games of all time.

First released back in 1998, it is safe to say that The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is quite outdated when it comes to performance and graphics.

Although an enhanced version of the game was released for the Nintendo 3DS back in 2011, Nintendo have still yet to afford Ocarina of Time a modern-day console remaster which has left fans to take on the mantle themselves.

That is what Youtuber Henriko Magnifico Showcase has achieved by showing us just a glimpse of what The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D looks like with 4K graphics.

Courtesy of a HD texture back, the Youtuber reveals how this mod is a work-in-progress but it is still playable from start to finish.

The texture pack used aims to completely overhaul the visuals of the game whilst also adding shaders.

However, as mods can only be implemented on PC, the texture pack can only be used on an emulated version of the game.

Last but not least, our Youtuber explains how the footage shown is at 4K and 60fps so this is the best you will have ever seen The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D look.

The video itself consists of 3-minutes of gameplay and cutscenes from the 2011 Nintendo remaster and it is safe to say that it has never looked better.

It is hard to believe that this is a 2011 remaster of a 1998 game but thanks to the texture pack and settings boost, players now have access to hundreds of hand-crafted 4K textures covering nearly all areas of the game.

It also features ambient occlusion and depth of field effects to truly bring the game to the modern-age.

As you can imagine, fans are blown away by Henriko Magnifico Showcase’s work and took to the comments to share their thoughts.

“That's what we actually need for Nintendo Switch,” one comment read.

Another added, “As an OOT fan this had me speechless. It's so beautiful. Great work!”

With the creator being able to retain the magic of the original game whilst providing that much-needed graphics boost, it is safe to say that this is one of the best The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D unofficial remasters around.
