More leaked gameplay for Grand Theft Auto VI has emerged online, showing police chases, nightclubs, and more unseen content.

Despite being arguably one of the biggest releases in gaming history, Rockstar Games’ next Grand Theft Auto title remains shrouded in secrecy and mystery.

A re-release of Red Dead Redemption is on the way, check out the announcement below

So far, we’ve seen nothing official regarding Grand Theft Auto VI, though Rockstar’s publisher Take-Two Interactive has hinted it’ll release in 2025, so we might be due a reveal very soon.

In the meantime, any speck of information, whether it be insider claims, speculation and rumours, or gameplay leaks has become a precious commodity in online forums and news outlets.

That brings us to the newest leaks to grace our social media channels, courtesy of @RockstarGTAVl, who shared a treasure trove of leaked content on Twitter, which at the time of writing is still online, some of it anyway.

The videos showed a variety of gameplay segments, although none of them look complete, meaning they could be from an earlier stage of the game’s development.

Some of the videos included another look at the nightclubs, which we covered last week, free-roam gameplay, and even some of the new features for vehicles, like having the sun-visor down or not.

The most notable was a video that showed the player being pursued by the police. The police AI has been a talking point recently, as it’s reportedly been overhauled from what it was during Grand Theft Auto V, making them smarter, more responsive and more of a threat to the player.

This was interesting as police in GTA V were criticised for materialising out of nowhere, leading to some frustrating evasion segments.

While the gameplay didn’t do much to confirm the enhanced police AI, as one pursuing car seemingly careened off the road for no apparent reason, it was interesting to get our first glimpse at what chases could look like in the final release.

Grand Theft Auto VI’s release date is still unknown, but it’ll release for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and PC.
