Excited for the release of Hogwarts Legacy? For those who’ve preordered either the Deluxe or Collector’s Edition of the game on PC or a new-gen console, there are just 11 days to go until you can step foot into the wizarding world (it’s two weeks exactly until the release of the Standard Edition).
The game has been surrounded by controversy - some are planning to boycott the title so as not to support J.K. Rowling, who has been criticised for making harmful comments about the transgender community. She hasn’t been involved in the development of the game, but is associated with it as the creator of Harry Potter and the Wizarding World franchise as a whole.
Hogwarts Legacy’s headmaster is being voiced by none other that Simon Pegg - meet his character below.
Hogwarts Legacy’s content will vary slightly from platform to platform - PlayStation users are getting exclusive access to the Haunted Hogsmeade Shop quest, as well as an extra in-game shop, dungeon, and the Shopkeeper’s Cosmetic Set, but it’s not just in-game content that they’re being treated to. As Game Rant reports, PlayStation is hosting a sweepstakes event dubbed the Hogwarts Legacy House Cup, which gamers can enter totally free to unlock avatar rewards, and be in with the chance of winning a Disc Edition PS5 and Collector’s Edition of the game.
