GTA 6 set to get entire cities as DLC, and fans want to see London

It's been claimed that Grand Theft Auto VI will receive city-sized DLCs post-launch.

We are very rapidly approaching the month of December which means one thing and one thing only, the Grand Theft Auto VI trailer is on the way.

Well, it means a couple of other things too admittedly. It was hard to ignore the gazillion Christmas trees I passed on my way into work, but the GTA VI trailer is the early Christmas present we’re all eagerly anticipating. A tease for the trailer has already been uncovered on Rockstar’s website which has undergone major changes this week as the studio prepares for the sudden onslaught of web traffic following the trailer’s premiere. It’s not known exactly when the trailer will debut in early December. The Game Awards falls on 7 December, but Rockstar could easily drop it out of the blue.

GTA VI is rumoured to be set in Vice City. Take a look at this remaster mod below.

In the meantime, the speculation continues. Earlier this year, Bloomberg reported that Rockstar is reportedly planning GTA VI’s post-launch content already which is said to include entire cities as DLC. Whether this is true or not remains to be seen so do take it with a pinch of salt. That being said, it has been raised several times that GTA VI will mark the return of single-player DLC. It’s an idea that’s caught the attention of fans.

Over on Reddit, many took to discussing the idea. User xDreadlockJesus said, “All I have to say is it would be very smart for them to make single-player DLC. They can still peddle their shark cards for Online, but they’ll capture a lot more sales if there’s single-player DLC, “ while Equivalent_Network29 added, “Having each new city added be focused around a new character’s story would be fantastic.”

Some fans are hoping to revisit Liberty City, while others are hoping to venture to South America. I’m sure whatever Rockstar is cooking up is very exciting. The countdown to the trailer continues.
