The second season of Fallout on Prime Video has just debuted and it's got off to a very strong start that sets the pace and overall direction for the rest of the season.
Lucy is continuing her pursuit of her, as it turns out, pretty terrible dad Hank MacLean, as he makes his way over to New Vegas with, as yet, slightly unclear intentions (even if they are almost certainly nefarious).
She's accompanied by the Ghoul, played by Walton Goggins, who himself is on a bit of a personal quest to see if he can track down his wife and child, who he believes could still be alive, even over 200 years after the bombs dropped.
Though we haven't made it to the bright lights of New Vegas just yet, it's safe to say that the appearance of the beloved city, from the 2010 game of the same name, is one of the things fans have been the most excited for.

Interestingly, it seems even at this very early stage, the planning for next season is well underway, and it looks set to take us to yet another iconic location from the franchise.

Walton Goggins Teases Unexpected Season 3 Location
Over on YouTube, in an interview between Keramagz and Fallout stars Ella Purnell, Walton Goggins and Aaron Moten, Goggins shared an interesting tidbit when asked about where the show may go next.
"You know, I can say that it's going to go to a place that the fans won't expect, and there will be clues along the way. But there will be at least one definitive direction with a very specific purpose in mind."
The not knowing what to expect portion of that statement really does throw the answer up in the air, as a lot of fans would have been expecting an appearance from the Capital Wasteland or the Commonwealth at some point.
Indeed, the latter has already been mentioned by characters in the show, so that could be a very subtle bit of foreshadowing, but again, it wouldn't be that unexpected.
That could see us head to lesser explored locations like The Pitt, or even DLC zones, like the incredible Far Harbour, though there might not be enough there for a full season.
Wherever they go, the Fallout franchise is packed with iconic locations, with even more mentioned in the games' wider lore. Perhaps it's time we got to see one of them for real.
