If you are still basking in the Fallout hype following the TV show adaptation earlier this year then you are in for a treat this September.

It is no wonder that Bethesda’s hit RPG series is getting a resurgence after its Prime Video adaptation broke all expectations back in April.

The popular post-apocalyptic game series kicked off back in 1997 and is still going strong to this day.

Although Bethesda has yet to release an official entry since Fallout 76 in 2018, the fan-made Fallout: London released last month to rave reviews.

However, there appears to be another release on the way.

According to Bethesda developers, Fallout 76 will be welcoming the Milepost Zero Update this September.

Fallout 76: Milepost Zero has heaps of new features including brand-new Legendary Crafting methods, customisable outposts and even setting up and defending Brahmin Caravans.

This update follows Fallout 76’s June update which welcomed the game’s first full map expansion titled Skyline Valley.

Now Milepost Zero is following suit and the new update has been live on the Public Test Server.

As a result, it has been receiving quite positive reviews with fans happy with the new changes and excited to see them officially added to the game.

Ahead of the full update in September, ComicBook found the time to speak to 76’s creative director Jonathan Rush and lead producer Bill LaCoste.

The interview discussed many of the new changes including improvements made to combat.

“The combat rebalancing is really cool – I think it makes the combat feel a bit more snappy," they explained.

"It makes it feel a bit more clear as people can see those damage-over-time effects. I think it's going to embolden players to try out different builds just because they have a much better view on what's going on with the combat."

Fallout 76: Milepost Zero arrives this September.
