A Cyberpunk 2077 player has noticed an interesting detail that most of us probably missed, which only adds to the immersion of Night City.
Despite its launch woes, there’s probably few that would deny that CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077 is currently one of the best sci-fi RPGs of its time.
From its compelling story missions, shrouded in conspiracy, to its interesting NPCs, namely Johnny Silverhand, Judy Álvarez, Panam Palmer and Goro Takemura, there’s a lot to love about Cyberpunk 2077.

It may have taken a while to get there along the proverbial bumpy road, but the developers at CD Projekt RED have really gone above and beyond to make Cyberpunk 2077 fulfil its potential, and now we can look forward to its sequel.
One of the other best features of the game is the small details that make Night City more immersive than most other game maps, such as this detail brought to our attention by a Reddit user.
“Neat little detail I found while goofing around,” posted NPO1. “If you keep skipping 24 hours in the game, tenants' rent becomes overdue. After 18 days, they receive an eviction notice!”
“V: ‘Johnny, I don't have much time left. I NEED to stand in front of a random apartment for 18 days straight to check something out’,” joked T3X4ss.

“V canonically stood there for days staring at the projection like he/she's possessed in sped-up CCTV footage,” replied CalligrapherMain7451.
“The amount of detail in this game is amazing,” said Fit_Acanthaceae_2884. “It’s hard to believe this game came from the pile of c**p at release. I never requested a refund. I had faith they would fix it.”
Cyberpunk 2077 is out now on PC, PlayStation and Xbox. It will also be coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on 5 June 2025.
