A Cyberpunk 2077 player has made Night City feel a lot more immersive, thanks to this new mod which alters first-person camera angles.

Cyberpunk 2077’s Night City is already brimming with immersive detail, thanks to CD Projekt Red’s careful dedication to making the game feel as close to reality as possible.

But even with that sweet next-gen technology that Cyberpunk 2077 had when it launched on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2020, modders are coming out to further enhance the game beyond its initial scope.

Thanks to a mod called “Immersive Camera”, originally created by modder Bonaniki, one player has demonstrated a way to get the game look a little more realistic, depending on your point of view.

The mod does a few things. For starters, it provides some overall improvements to first-person view, like allowing your character’s torso to be clearly visible, so you can enjoy your outfits. The camera is unobtrusive in this respect, and the view is only applied when you aim down.

Meanwhile, it also allows you to rotate the camera without moving your body, which works nicely for zooming, scanning and interactions. It also works when using weapons, but there is currently a bug that allows you to shoot in the direction you're facing, despite not aiming there.

Finally, the mod also changes camera angles when travelling on bikes and other vehicles.

Cyberpunk 2077 Players Are Roasting The Mod For Being Unrealistic

As shared on the Cyberpunk 2077 Reddit page, user matrixagentfr shared their experience with using the Immersive Camera mod, calling it “peak”.

However, some users in the comments section roasted the gameplay, with one user writing: “longest arms I’ve ever done seen”.

“Yes, having your head behind the tank of a motorcycle is totally immersive....” writes another.

Many other comments in the thread seem to be from people who are actually motorcyclists, and they also appear to be roasting the gameplay.

“This is not what riding a motorcycle looks like,” reads one comment in retaliation. “It looks like V’s head is where the seat is.”

“As motorbiker, that’s not immersive. It looks sh**,” reads another, blasting the original poster.

Still, if you’d like to check out the Immersive Camera mod, you can do so by heading to Nexus Mods and downloading it for yourself. Obviously, you'll need to be on the PC version of Cyberpunk 2077 in order to use the mod.
