Some might say that one of the biggest perks of being a PC gamer is the gifts that the awesome modding community keeps on giving, and we totally agree.

Mods can certainly be a wonderful thing, not only breathing new life into the games we love with original content, but the community can sometimes remaster a game better than the actual developers. Anyone that has used the OG Resident Evil 4 HD Project mod will know of the wizardry that can be worked. Sometimes, modders will even fix bugs and glitches, for games that may have otherwise been abandoned.

It’s no secret that Cyberpunk 2077 was a bit of a mess at launch, especially when being played on last-gen consoles. In fact, Cyberpunk 2077 was so bad on PS4, that Sony pulled it from the PS Store, only to make a triumphant return months later. That being said, I think it’s fair to say that gamers had a much better experience with CD Projekt Red’s sci-fi RPG on PC.

The Cyberpunk 2077 experience for gamers on PC is made even better by community mods, such as the game-changing ‘Immersive NCPD Hotline’ mod. This not only fixes the cop's AI in the game, but it also does so much more. Such as allowing you to pay the corrupt law enforcement of Night City to do your bidding. The talented developer that we have to thank for this mod is anygoodname.

The ‘Immersive NCPD Hotline’ mod even lets you pay the corrupt cops for protection from unwarranted blame, such as an accidental stray bullet that may or may not kill a random citizen and you can pay for your crimes to be covered up. Honestly, it’s this kind of mod that makes me feel a little jealous that I don’t play games on PC. This awesome mod is available to download now via Nexusmods.

Cyberpunk 2077 is out now for PC, PlayStation and Xbox. What’s more, its highly anticipated expansion ‘Phantom Liberty’ releases for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on 26 September 2023.
