Fans of Valheim and Dark Souls will want to check out this new RPG that’s being released this year.
While they're two entirely different RPGs, both Valheim and the Dark Souls series, are two of the most popular properties in their respective survival and soulslike sub-genres.
Valheim is known for offering players a lot of creative freedom, with fans crafting, building and hunting to their heart's content, all set in a Norse mythology-inspired world with challenging enemies to battle.
Whereas FromSoftware’s Dark Souls series lures players in with its enticing but eerie gothic worlds.

However, that enticement of exploration comes with the added threat of just about everything wanting to brutally kill you for fun. And that’s not even taking into account its epic boss battles.
With that in mind, if you’re on the lookout for a game with a hint of Valheim and Dark Souls, then this indie title from Diorite Games might just be your cup of tea.
The game in question is called Endalor, and it’s a co-op, action-adventure RPG that can be played with up to four players.
“Explore, survive and conquer the world of Endalor. Fight your way through inhabitants of this dark fantasy world and its even darker undergrounds,” reads the synopsis of the game on Steam.

“Scavenge for resources, trade, build your home and craft the finest gear. Become allies with the rulers of this Land or become the one they fear the most.”
After watching the gameplay trailers on its Steam page, it looks like Endalor could be a lot of fun, especially when being played with friends.
At the time of writing, Endalor doesn't have a solid release date, but it is intended to launch as an early access title at some point this year.
In the meantime, be sure to add it to your Steam wishlist to be notified of any updates.
