PlayStation Plus subscribers feel like they're getting scammed by the Sony service.
As we know, PlayStation Plus offers three tiers. PS Plus Essential offers a few new games per month with bonuses such as discounts, free DLC, and more.
Perhaps the biggest perk of PlayStation Plus Essential is that games will always remain in your library with an active subscription, unlike PS Plus Extra and Premium.
PlayStation Plus Extra offers everything included with the Essential tier but also a much larger pool of PS5 and PS4 games to enjoy. However, many of its games will come and go on rotation.

PlayStation Plus Premium is Sony’s most expensive tier, offering everything included in Essential and Extra, but with the addition of classic games, trials, cloud streaming, selected movies and much more.
When it comes to value for money for each of the three PlayStation Plus tiers, that is subjective to each subscriber. What may be perceived as a bargain for some may be considered a scam for others.
With that in mind, let’s just say that some PlayStation Plus subscribers aren't too happy with the service recently. And to be fair, when a service continually increases in price, it’s more than fair to ask questions.
“PS Plus Premium tier is a scam,” exclaimed an agitated DoppeldangerTeddies.

“I went with the Premium tier only because PS Plus was on sale and it was the same price as the Extra tier. It's really not worth it unless it’s on sale,” agreed Ekhoes, to an extent.
“It's massively overvalued,” declared sniffingscrotums.
“It's trash. I have it only because Sony made it cheaper than the middle tier. I’m not gonna get it next time,” replied Nazaol, who presumably subscribed to PS Plus Premium at a discount.
Like I said earlier, value is subjective, and if anyone feels that they’re not getting that value, it might be time to stop throwing away money.
