As everyone knows by now, there really is a lot to like about Red Dead Redemption 2. From the enthralling story to the magnificent vistas, it remains a world that's remarkably easy to get lost in, even some seven years since its initial release.
That said, its most enduring legacy will likely always be the level of detail that the developers managed to include. Whether it's being able to shoot water tanks and then watch the water drain, but only to a level just below the bullet hole, or the realistic decomposition of dead animals based on the weather conditions, they really did think of just about everything.
That's why, even after all this time, the game's extensive community continues to discover all sorts of little secrets and tidbits that make the game world feel that little bit more alive.
Over on Reddit, one player shared their discovery of a vegetable shop in Saint Denis that isn't marked on the map and is fairly easy to miss if you don't know it's there. Essentially, after wandering down an alleyway and hopping a fence, they noticed a vendor selling carrots and corn who is totally hidden away from the rest of the town.

It's possible to buy fresh produce from the stand in Saint Denis market, simply by approaching the piece of fruit or veg that you want to buy. Be warned, however, that if your honour is low, then you will unfortunately only have the option to steal from those poor hardworking merchants.
The responses were predictably mind-blown, with one saying, "+Honour for making hundreds of roleplayers very happy. Seriously, though, does this game have any end?"
The OP responded by confirming that, if it does have an end, they certainly haven't found it yet, "I don't know. I’ve played it around 11 times and I always find a new way to enjoy it, this time I was playing as realistically as possible."
Others simply used the comments section to share a mixture of exclamation marks and mind-blown emojis, presumably also astounded that they had managed to miss it.

These secret stores are relatively inconsequential in the grand scheme of things, and they don't offer products that will make a massive difference in yours and the gang's struggle for survival in the harsh West.
That said, they are part of a much bigger tapestry that's critical to the game's biggest successes, and we couldn't love them any more for it.
