When it comes to attention to detail, Rockstar is one of the best and nothing shows that more than Red Dead Redemption 2.
Despite it being years since the Red Dead Redemption sequel was first released, players are still uncovering secrets and Easter eggs strewn throughout the Western RPG.
From locked areas to hidden mechanics, it seems as though Rockstar did not cut any corners when it came to making Red Dead Redemption 2 feel more alive than any of its previous titles.
As a result, fans often take to Reddit to ask fellow players to share their own discoveries over the years and, as a result, many Easter eggs and mysteries are still being revealed to this day.

“What’s your biggest “wait… you can do that?!” moment in RDR2?” One user recently asked over on r/RDR2.
Although almost 500 comments were posted as a result of this question, one discovery definitely stood out as many players revealed that it was something that they missed on their first playthrough.
“This isn’t so much something Arthur can do, but something he can find,” user motherofhellhusks shared.
“Trelawny’s home in Saint Denis.

If you find it, you’ll have a convo through the door and he’ll later nervously speak to you at camp about it.”
In the small courtyard where you previously saved Charles Chatenay from a man wielding a gun, heading to the second story will see you come face to face (well, face to door) with this discovery.
Inside, you can hear Trelawny having a conversation with what we can assume is his wife and kids, with the interaction ending with, “Run along now, kids. Let me and your mom read the papers”.
As mentioned in the original post, Arthur can then talk to Trelawny about it at the camp at a later date.

“Yeah, I accidentally stumbled upon that,” user MrBigTomato commented.
“It was trippy to hear him with his happy little family that he apparently leaves for weeks at a time.
Two days later, I saw Trelawny at camp by the crafting fire. Sure enough, Arthur can talk to him about his discovery. This game has so much life to it.”
So next time you are in Saint Denis, make sure you partake in a bit of eavesdropping.
