In a time where the biggest RPGs of all time are all looking to add more instalments, such as GTA 6, The Witcher 4, and Elder Scrolls 6, we've all been waiting patiently for that Red Dead Redemption announcement.

So far, it's eluded us, with Rockster Games continuing to remain focused on the GTA 6 deadline.

But, once the studio launches its gargantuan crime-laden heisting title, recouping billions of dollars in revenue, what comes next?

Well, one Red Dead cult hero says a trilogy is coming, and he's waiting by the phone to reprise his role.

Arthur Morgan actor says Red Dead Redemption 3 is coming

Having been teased on multiple occasions, Red Dead Redemption 3 is the title we're all expecting to be announced in the near future.

One of those expectant fans is none other than Arthur Morgan actor Roger Clark, who thinks the developers will be 'crazy' not to turn their attention to the Wild West after allowing the lawless loose in Miami.

Speaking on the Fall Damage podcast, Clark said that an announcement will come 'tomorrow after lunchtime,' before joking that he doesn't know when it's coming, just that it's highly probable.

"I think it'll be crazy not to do another one, and I'm sure we will see [a trilogy]."

As to what it would entitle, he expects that Arthur Morgan will be involved, just in a new setting.

"It absolutely could be a brand new story with some possible cameos of some familiar characters," he said.

"If I get a phone call, I will be picking it up."

Theories have already been flying around social media and Rockstar forums as to where Red Dead Redemption 3 could take us.

Possibly quite unfortunately for Clark, a lot of fans think Redemption has been rounded off perfectly and that a new title would be best served with another storyline, which may or may not see Arthur Morgan involved.

Still, Clark is expecting that this legacy series will continue, but it might be 'some time' after GTA 6 before we get confirmation.

In the meantime, he will be enjoying the upcoming Rockstar game without knowing the ending for the first time ever.
