Fallout really is going through an absolute renaissance right now after several years in the doldrums while we waited for potential game sequel news, with the Prime Video adaptation leading the way in terms of new content to enjoy.
Fallout 76 has improved significantly over the last few years as well, and the recent Burning Springs update added even more content, including the Ghoul, played by Walton Goggins in the show.
Even lesser enjoyed games like Fallout Shelter have been getting some love, with the PC release adding a ton of features and content that were previously locked to the mobile version of the game, just last week.
Now, Xbox players can get their hands on some free Fallout cosmetics for their console, that should help you get into the post-apocalyptic swing of things before the next episode comes out just before Christmas day.
Microsoft Adds Two Fallout-Themed Dynamic Backgrounds For Xbox Series S / X Owners

Advert
As first pointed out by Tom Warren over on Twitter/X, if you own an Xbox Series S/X, you can head over to the storefront right now and download two dynamic Fallout themes for your console, both of which look pretty cool.
The first is very much themed around the second season of the Prime Video show, with the shows main characters travelling across the wastes in front of the famous flickering sign that greets you when you get to New Vegas.
The second is the accompanying artwork for the Ghoul's appearance in Fallout 76 (which you can see as the featured image for this article), and that comes with some movement to it, though perhaps a little less interesting than the other one.
Comments under the post were also pretty hyped with the new additions to the cosmetic range, with appreciation for the franchise on a bit of a high right now.
"Actually looks very nice? Wish they opened up for community creation," one comment read.
"Got my T-51 Power Armor animated one right now but that new Vegas one might be good enough to swap to," another added.
"Witcher background is still goated for me, but these look great," a third said.
If you're planning on tuning into the second season of the show yourself, the first episode is available now, with the next set to release on 23 December.
Subsequent episodes will release on a weekly basis, up to its eighth episode conclusion.
