The best Star Wars live-action prequels (do not @ me, this is objectively correct) are reportedly making their way to cinemas at some point in the future, proving that Disney might finally understand exactly what direction the fan base wants them to take the franchise in.
Hey, are you watching Andor? If the answer is no, you’re stupid and I hate you.
If the answer is yes, then… well, you fancy watching it again, but in the cinemas? And after that, do you fancy watching Rogue One? Of course you do, you have great taste. Unlike those dummies who haven’t seen Andor yet.

Well, it sounds like your wish may become a reality, if Andor’s showrunner Tony Gilroy has anything to do with it.
Andor's second and final season will soon draw to a close.
In a recent interview with Collider, Gilroy was asked about the possibility of Andor getting a theatrical release, and he revealed that he’s keen to have the final episode of season 2 paired up with a re-release of Rogue One.

“It's been discussed. We've mixed [Episodes] 1, 2, and 3 to play theatrically. They do need a little bit of an extra mix. We mix differently for how we deliver normally, because people watch on their iPads, on their TVs — it’s 5.1 [aspect ratio]. If you’re mixing for theaters, it's not like a switch,” Gilroy told Collider.
“It takes a couple hours or a day to do that. So we have [Episodes] 1, 2, and 3. If there was enough interest, I'm sure Disney would roadshow it at some point. Why not? I think they have interest in showing [Episode] 12 going into Rogue [One], but that depends on how the show does. They look good on a big screen.”
Disney. You and I aren’t on good terms. But if you do this… well, maybe I can excuse some of the other Star Wars-related mishaps you’ve had over the past, um, decade.
Andor is the best thing you’ve accidentally produced in years, so just put the theatrical release in the bag and we can let bygones be bygones, alright?
