It has been almost two years since Starfield was first released and with the game still criticised for its lack of content and detail, this brand-new release may just give it the lease of life it so desperately needs.
Despite being developed by Bethesda, Starfield is not considered as one of its best RPGs thanks to its empty open-world set across a sprawling galaxy.
As a result, it sits at an average 6.8 user rating over on Metacritic.

However, this total conversion mod for Starfield combines the Bethesda RPG with one of the best sci-fi series of all time: Star Wars.
Star Wars: Genesis consists of a total conversion mod list which turns Starfield into Star Wars by completely replacing, modifying, and improving the Bethesda title “to the point where some may consider this a different game”.
“Star Wars Genesis is an experience,” the mod’s official website reads.
“One that you cannot find anywhere else. It is the Ultimate Star Wars RPG, featuring a harsh and unforgiving Galaxy that has not been seen yet in any other form of modern Star Wars media. Heavily inspired off of Star Wars Galaxies, Knights of the Old Republic, and Legends.”
In order to completely convert Starfield into Star Wars, the modlist features over 150 mods such as a unique main story questline, complete sound and music overhaul, full conversion of all weapons, armours, and droids, and 25,000+ converted voicelines, to name but a few.

As you can imagine, Starfield and Star Wars fans alike are blown away by this project and took to the YouTube comments to share their thoughts.
“Once it becomes less of a dark art to get this mod collection running, Starfield as Star Wars is going to THE MOON. This is just what the game needs,” one user wrote.
Another said: “This is gonna be the best Star Wars game that isn't a Star Wars game.”
