Star Wars fans have realised that a surprise character might just have the highest kill count out of all its villains, by quite some margin.
The Star Wars movie franchise is one of the most popular properties in the glitzy (somewhat seedy) world of Hollywood. While not the originator of good versus evil in the sci-fi genre, it has inspired the likes of Ridley Scott’s Alien (albeit a lot more terrifying) and, most importantly of all, Space Balls.
Sure, the Star Wars franchise may have lost its way somewhat in recent years, so much so that even some of its actors would have approached things differently, but despite all of that, our love for the galaxy far, far away will never dwindle.
Perhaps the most consistent low point for the movie series is with the sequel trilogy from 2015 to 2019, which consisted of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Star Wars: The Last Jedi and finally, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

However, one of the few positive aspects of the sequel trilogy was with its weasel villain, General Hux. Who, on the surface, seems to be a typical corporate suck up (which he is), but he just so happens to be one of the biggest mass murderers in all of Star Wars.
“I just realised that Hux has the highest kill count in canon Star Wars history,” revealed Redditor Fishjpeg145, kicking off the discussion. “Think about it: The first Death Star destroyed Alderaan (one planet and two billion lives). The second Death Star was destroyed before it could fire.”
“Starkiller Base, under Hux's command, destroyed the entire Hosnian system, which included five planets and its star,” they continued. “The scale is astronomical. We're talking about the heart of the New Republic government, its fleet, and countless billions of lives, all extinguished in an instant.”

Other Star Wars fans on the thread mentioned other mass murdering villains, such as Darth Nihilus and the seemingly cute Chopper (C1-10P), who has killed far more beings than you might think.
Perhaps the scariest thing about General Hux is that while he was nowhere near as menacing as Darth Vader and Darth Sidious, it feels like all of his cruel actions are not only a push for power but also to prove a point to those who doubt him.
At least with Vader and Sidious, with their twisted logic, they were convinced their actions were for the greater good. General Hux, however, is just a little brat who’s willing to murder billions, all because he had too many wedges growing up.
