Star Wars boss confirms what happened to Grogu during the sequel trilogy

Where was he hiding?

The problem with their being so many Star Wars characters is you’re always wondering where they are when a massive conflict is taking place.

During the sequel trilogy it was easy to say “oh Han left to do his thing, Luke is exiled and Leia is still fighting the good fight” but there are loads of other characters who seemingly vanished after the Empire fell.

Check out the trailer for the new Ghost Of Yōtei game below

Two characters that are super hot in the Star Wars canon right now are the Mandalorian and Grogu, who’ll be getting their own film in the next few years.

Their story takes place shortly after the fall of the Empire, which has led many to wonder where they were during the events of the sequel trilogy.

Executive Producer of The Mandalorian was asked if he knew what the pair were getting up to as the First Order rose to power, to which he replied “That’s a great question, and we talk about many different things. That’s a question for a bunch of characters by the way, not just Grogu. Where are they during these events?”

He went on to say “in my experience, there’s definitely a way to weave everything together and make it exciting. It’s possible it would never even have to cross over with what we saw [in the Sequel Trilogy] if the story has us somewhere else.”

To put it simply, while Rey and the Resistance battle the First Order it’s more than likely Grogu is somewhere else in the galaxy doing his own thing, either with his adopted father or without, that remains to be seen.

For now though, we’re having to wait until the next season of The Mandalorian as well as the new film, though the characters will probably cameo in another project before then knowing Disney.
