Players of Cyberpunk 2077 already have so much to do in the base game, along with the superb DLC, Phantom Liberty, but that doesn’t stop modders from adding even more to experience.

A large part of the Cyberpunk 2077 experience is being able to use body modifications and neuralware to improve your character is numerous ways.

These all make up fresh ways to tackle each situation in the game, whether through stealthy movement, action-packed gun fights, or hacking into systems.

I’d argue that CD Projekt Red covered a pretty wide selection of options in the game, but that hasn’t stopped one modder from creating an expansion that adds over 40 new modifications.

Aptly titled, Neuralware - Chipware Expansion, the creator notes that players can “unlock devastating techniques, and manage a new neural capacity resource that adds depth to your cyberware choices.”

On top of adding in a bunch of new options, many older modifications have been tweaked or expanded.

Several new features are introduced to make the system of neauralware more in-depth, adding in new resources to be monitored, like Neural Capacity and Neural Processors.

Keeping an eye on these will impact how you can use the new mods, as well as existing ones, and now each chip has a mastery component, allowing them to improve over time as you use them.

This is a pretty big overhaul of the concept, and one that should please fans who wanted a bit more control over the neural hardware for their characters.

Players have been trying out the mod, and so far, everyone seems pretty pleased with the new additions.

It seems like there are lots of hidden features within each chip, making them better after using them is particular ways, which sounds like a great way to access new abilities and skills.
