Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto series is responsible for a lot of great childhood memories. Remember printing out pages of cheat codes from the school library, trying to follow the damn train with Big Smoke, or the sheer panic of accidentally flying into the 'Area 69' restricted airspace?

Millions of us are eagerly anticipating the release of GTA 6 this November, ready to make all-new memories. But unfortunately, not every gamer will be here to get their hands on it.

Tragically, a big brother has taken to Reddit to share the love his terminally-ill little brother has for the series.

“My brother has had his battles with hypoplastic left heart syndrome, strokes, and failing liver and kidneys. He has undergone open heart surgeries, scoliosis back surgery, and had a good chunk of his life in the hospital.”

In this video, we can see how GTA Online has given this young fan a distraction through his intense heart-failure treatments. He has 900 Million + currently in his Maze Bank account, all through straight up grinding his CEO businesses.

His brother shared: “He owns almost everything in the game, and has some of the best outfit drip too. Some of my favorite memories with my brother have been playing this game with him, watching him grow up to become the brother he is today, as well as watching his collection in GTA Online grow as well.”

He continues: “Despite all this, he is still one of the sweetest, kindest people I know, he is not capable of doing much else, so GTA Online has been a great way for him to express himself, and have fun doing something he loves.”

“Sadly, he is in the end stages of heart failure, and has fallen extremely ill the last couple years. We are hoping that he gains strength and continues to push through so that we have as much time left with him as possible. I have been really holding out that he sticks around long enough to see the release of GTA VI, but its starting to look like he may miss it.”

Redditors took to the comments to share their condolences and offer advice.

One commenter flagged: Support can absolutely forward these requests to who needs to hear them. Be prepared to accept a no though. Sometimes it's just not do-able. Sorry about your Lil homie, that's rough.”

They continue: “Also hate to say it, but some requests like this are fake, and they may be getting slammed with them after the news that they let someone do this. Basically a lot of people suck.”

It's not the first time Rockstar Games has done something like this for the community.

In 2018, a dying Dutch fan got to play RDR2 before he passed in a private demonstration before the official launch. Terminally-ill fans have even played GTA 6, so it’s not impossible.

Let’s get this story told, and hopefully this dedicated fan can experience GTA 6 with his brother.
