Disney has officially revealed that one of its oldest MCU stars is going to be making a return in an upcoming series - and they’ve even let slip exactly what role he’ll be taking over.

I am going to warn you in advance that this is a bit of a deep cut, so those who haven’t watched every piece of MCU content out there might have no clue who I’m referring to.

However, if you did watch the show this guy is from… you’re probably going to be pretty excited to finally see him return.

A bunch of press releases and assets recently just went up on Disney’s official website, including this pretty interesting one detailing some info about the upcoming third season of What If…?.

Take a look at the show's trailer below.

If you don’t fancy downloading a random PDF though, here’s what the interesting part of what it says.

“The series features an incredible voice cast that includes a host of stars who reprise their iconic roles. Season 3 features fan-favorite characters like Captain America/Sam Wilson, The Winter Soldier/Bucky Barnes, Hulk/Bruce Banner, The Red Guardian, Captain Peggy Carter, Agatha Harkness, Shang-Chi, Storm the Goddess of Thunder, and numerous others.”

Now, the bit that’s got everyone excited is the “host of stars who reprise their iconic roles” part. That’s because if you scroll further down in the document, it eventually reveals that actor James D'Arcy will be popping up in the show.

For those unaware, James D'Arcy played Jarvis in the Agent Carter TV show and also popped up in a little cameo in Avengers: Endgame.

Although Agent Carter was short-lived, Jarvis has become a bit of a fan favourite character over the years so folks are pretty excited to see him pop back up.

Here’s hoping this isn’t a bait and switch, and he’s actually playing the other Jarvis…
