Marvel fans rejoice, because it looks like we’re finally getting Moon Knight back in the MCU.
Released in 2022, Marvel’s Moon Knight is perhaps one of the best MCU series on Disney Plus, as reflected by its respectable Rotten Tomatoes scores in the mid-to-high 80s.
Starring Oscar Isaac as the mundane Steven Grant, his life is turned upside down when he discovers he shares a body with the infamous mercenary, Marc Spector.
However, that is not the only thing Grant has to contend with, because he just so happens to be the anti-hero known as Moon Knight.

Sadly, as fantastic as Moon Knight is, it was only for a single season, and at the time of writing, there appears to be no indication that season two will be greenlit. That being said, that doesn't necessarily mean that Moon Knight as a character won’t return.
As reported by ComicBookMovie (via The Cosmic Circus), Moon Knight could return in a story inspired by the 2018 comic series Doctor Strange: Damnation, which features the Midnight Sons.
It is also believed that the adaptation will involve other Midnight Sons members, Blade, Doctor Voodoo, Elsa Bloodstone, Ghost Rider and Man-Thing.
I am about to venture into spoilers for the final episode of the new Disney Plus series, Ironheart. So you have been warned.

In the final episode of Ironheart, we’re introduced to the MCU version of Mephisto, played by Sacha Baron Cohen. Previously, fans believed that Mephisto was teased in the other Disney Plus series, Agatha All Along.
In the finale episode of Ironheart, Riri Williams' soul was claimed by Mephisto in exchange for resurrecting her best friend from the dead, Natalie Washington.
The Cosmic Circus explains that in the Doctor Strange: Damnation four-part series, Mephisto takes over Las Vegas by turning it into his version of hell, and the Midnight Sons are called upon to save the day.
It certainly looks like Marvel Studios has long been laying the foundations to introduce Mephisto, and the return of Moon Knight, as well as bringing Ghost Rider into the MCU for the first time.

Of course, at this time, it’s mere speculation that we’re getting the Midnight Sons in the MCU, but I like to think that there’s no smoke without fire. We’ll update you if we learn more about this developing story.
