Everybody send Bella Ramsey you're positive thoughts and good vibes because they're about to embark on a playthrough of The Last of Us Part 2.
Talking to The Movie Podcast while being interviewed about their appearance in the latest Chicken Run film, Bella was asked if they had any plans to play the remastered edition of The Last of Us Part 2.
The Last of Us will start shooting again soon for the second season
Bella took a moment to reply saying "Yeah, why not? Especially as I didn't play the first game before filming the first season, but I watched a lot of gameplay. I thought maybe I would give it a play. That'll be fun." I hate to break it to you Bella, fun is not the word I would choose.
Don't get me wrong, the second game in The Last of Us franchise is a piece of narrative and action brilliance, but fun it is not. Especially as so much of the game leans pretty hard into the bleakness of the wastelands and life constantly on edge.

It will be good for them to play and get a sense of the direction the story swings. The introduction of Abby, who of course completely upends Joel and Ellie's world, will be a pivotal part of the upcoming season and give Ellie an antagonist. The second game is overflowing with emotion and it will be interesting to see how Bella Ramsey plays Ellie when the show returns. Hopefully experiencing the game firsthand will give them plenty of material to dig into for the heartrending moments that we know will appear. Plus the new season will be using content from the cutting room floor.
Hopefully filming doesn't take too long, given that Pedro Pascal is just so damn popular, but it will good to sit by and watch as this season comes together.
The release date for the second season of The Last Of Us is currently unknown.
