Fallout Amazon series new look appears online

Fallout Amazon series new look appears online

This looks brilliant.

What a year it’s been for video game adaptations, huh? Gran Turismo is right around the corner, and earlier this year, we were treated to the release of both The Super Mario Bros. Movie and The Last of Us season one, both of which were brilliant.

Amongst all that, you might have forgotten that Amazon is currently working on a live-action Fallout TV series, which is really exciting. Admittedly, at this point, we know very little about it - it was announced in 2020, when it was confirmed Westworld creators Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan would be adapting the fan-favourite Bethesda series alongside Todd Howard himself as an executive producer.

Check out this amazing real-life creation of a Fallout Gauss rifle below.

“Fallout is one of the greatest game series of all time,” Joy and Nolan previously said in a statement. “Each chapter of this insanely imaginative story has cost us countless hours we could have spent with family and friends. So we're incredibly excited to partner with Todd Howard and the rest of the brilliant lunatics at Bethesda to bring this massive, subversive, and darkly funny universe to life with Amazon Studios.”

We’re yet to see a proper trailer for the series, but thanks to a number of set photos which have found their way online, we’ve already got some idea of what the show will look like, and spoiler alert - it’s looking promising. As VGC reports, a number of new images have showcased some sort of building with the Vault Tech logo painted on the floor outside. A number of worn old cars can be spotted parked up, and one of the actors appears to be dressed as a raider. Take a look below.

At the time of writing, it’s still not known when the Fallout TV series is going to release, but hopefully it’ll be sooner rather than later.
