Harry Potter fans are all dealing with the wait for Hogwarts Legacy in their own way.
Some are re-reading the books, or going through all the movies again to drum up as much excitement for their journey to the Wizarding World as possible. Others are simply sat alone in a dark room watching the Hogwarts Legacy gameplay trailer on an endless loop until it launches. Whatever gets you through the day.

But there are some, more creative fans, who have decided to use the wait to do something a little more unique. Fans like Reddit user Geraltze, who's taken it upon themselves to design some properly gorgeous custom PlayStation 5 faceplates inspired by the four Houses of Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Custom faceplates are something PlayStation 5 owners have been begging Sony for since the console launched back in 2020, of course.
While we don't yet have anything quite as extravagant as these Harry Potter-inspired beauties, officially branded PS5 faceplates in a variety of different colours were announced late last year and are expected to be available in the coming weeks.

Given that the PS5 was designed in such a way that the faceplates can be easily removed and swapped, we're hoping/assuming that this first wave of new colours is merely the beginning of far more ambitious custom designs. There's clearly a market for PS5 faceplates based on Harry Potter, God Of War, Spider-Man, and any other major franchise you'd care to mention.
Hogwarts Legacy is expected to release around "Holiday 2022", which means any time between October and December. Here's hoping Sony and Warner Bros. spy Geraltze's excellent work and decide to make the real thing. If nothing else, it'd be handy to walk into someone's house and tell simply from their Ravenclaw PS5 that they're an irritating know-it-all.
