If you have ever wondered what The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim would look like with over 2000 mods but are too scared of your PC blowing up, then don’t fret as one Youtuber has done it for you. Spoiler alert, no blown-up PC but the game does look breathtaking.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has been out for well over ten-years now and with The Elder Scrolls 6 on the horizon, it is doubtful that we will ever see the 2011 RPG get remastered. However, with a talented modding community, it is possible to make Skyrim look as though it was released just this week and that is what Youtuber Digital Dreams has done.

Check out some funny wins & fails from Skyrim below!

The video in question gives us a sneak peek at what Skyrim would look like if it ran in 8K with NVIDIA DLSS 3 Frame Generation and over 2000 mods. As you can probably guess, this isn’t something that all players can achieve without their PC sounding like a struggling aircraft but if you are able to, it will make the game look like a completely new release.

Additionally, Digital Dreams used the PureDark’s DLSS 3 Mod which is a Patreon-exclusive mod meaning you will have to pay for it. To create even further issues, Digital Dreams is yet to produce the full list of mods he used but rather shares a Novilus Modlist which they also state had “issues”. As a result, we are unsure what these 2000 mods are and are unable to guess how he achieved the end results.

Regardless of those hiccups, it is clear that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was destined to perform at 8K resolution as the results are stunning. The thirteen-minutes of gameplay provided by the Youtuber give us a look at the stunning graphics, improved UI and menu system and a much smoother performance.

In related news, some fans are unhappy with recent rumours circulating online about the upcoming Elder Scrolls 6 entry. With the game taking over ten years to develop, it has left fans questioning such an early reveal from Bethesda.
