It looks like The Elder Scrolls VI is gearing up for full-scale productions, according to recent job adverts put up by Bethesda.

We’ve been waiting for The Elder Scrolls VI for what seems like forever. Considering it’s been nearly 14 years since Skyrim first came out, you wouldn’t be blamed for thinking that.

Following Skyrim’s release, Bethesda Game Studios had its hands full with development on Fallout 4, Fallout 76, and Starfield.

With those games now complete and released into the wild, it’s time for Bethesda to scale up production on the next Elder Scrolls game.

What would you like to see in The Elder Scrolls VI?

First announced in 2018, The Elder Scrolls VI has been one of the most anticipated games from the last decade. Considering how well liked Skyrim is, the pressure is on Bethesda to deliver something just as compelling.

Now, it looks like The Elder Scrolls VI is finally entering full production. At least, that’s what we can assume based on recent job adverts by Bethesda.

As spotted by Reddit, Bethesda currently has two job adverts posted on LinkedIn for quest designers.

While it isn’t specified what games these roles will work on, they will involve “creating high-quality open world quest content that tells engaging stories” and “writing interactive, branching character dialogue and implementing quest logic".

That sounds pretty standard for a modern RPG, especially one developed by Bethesda.

While it comes as no surprise that the next Elder Scrolls game will have these features, it’s nice to have confirmation. Open world quests and branching dialogue is something Bethesda does really well.

What’s interesting is that the job ad also references S.P.E.C.I.A.L., which is a term used in the Fallout games.

However, we still believe these roles are intended for work on The Elder Scrolls VI, because having played every release of Skyrim is also listed as a bonus requirement.

Still, all signs point towards Bethesda ramping up production on The Elder Scrolls VI. Likely, we won’t have a proper reveal of this game for a few more years, but hopefully it won’t take long now.
