Despite being a huge fan of Bethesda, Skyrim Grandma has confirmed that she has very little interest in playing their upcoming space epic, Starfield. Instead, her sights are firmly set on The Elder Scrolls VI.

Starfield looks set to dazzle and could easily become a major GOTY contender. Set to feature over 1,000 planets, Bethesda have also confirmed that New Atlantis is the biggest city they’ve made to date. They later added that Starfield will have fewer bugs than any previous Bethesda game, NPCs will be able to call you by your real name, and the map may just be the biggest thing we’ve ever seen. It’s taken a long time to craft Starfield, so long that The Elder Scrolls VI may be Todd Howard’s final ever game. Hopefully, that means that Starfield won’t let us down. Skyrim Grandma is ready to look past Starfield already though.

Take a look at Starfield’s latest trailer below.

Shirley Curry, known as Skyrim Grandma, is well-loved for her adoration of Bethesda’s 2011 release. Last year, she celebrated reaching 1,000,000 subscribers on YouTube, and Curry is pretty vocal about the fact that she hopes Bethesda will release The Elder Scrolls VI before she dies. In her latest vlog, the 85-year-old content creator said she’s “too angry” to play Starfield.

As reported by PC Gamer, Curry shot down rumours that she’d appear as an NPC in Starfield, and explained why she’s so angry at its existence. “One of my problems, kids, is that I got so upset with Bethesda for not making Elder Scrolls 6 and getting it out here for us to play, that I was angry, and I was getting—I played so many different stories that I've made up in Skyrim over the years that I was finally starting to get a little bit bored with it," she said.

"I didn't have a new one to play, so I just felt like, well, 'Crap.' And I put the thing away and quit playing it. And now I'm bored! I was bored playing it, and now I'm bored not playing it," she continued. Curry isn’t a fan of every Bethesda title, referring to Fallout as “depressing”. In terms of Starfield, space games aren’t really her thing either so don’t expect any more Let’s Play’s for the time being.
