'Skyrim' Grandma Would Love Bethesda To Release 'Elder Scrolls 6' Before She Dies

Better get moving, Bethesda

Beloved YouTuber Shirley Curry, better known to her devoted fans as Skyrim Grandma, has but one simple request of Bethesda for The Elder Scrolls VI: She'd very much like the developer to hurry up and get it out so she can play it before she dies. Can't argue with that.

The 85-year-old Curry has been playing Skyrim on YouTube since the game came out in 2011, and frequently shares gameplay videos with her adoring followers. With over 1 million subscribers under her belt, she's become an icon in The Elder Scrolls community - so much so that she's actually set to appear as an NPC in The Elder Scrolls VI.

Take a look at what we'd love to see from The Elder Scrolls VI below!

During a recent Q&A with fans at PAX East (via Rock Paper Shotgun), Curry was asked what she'd say to Bethesda director Todd Howard.

“I’d ask him to give me a cool game, and I’d ask him to hurry up and finish The Elder Scrolls 6,” she laughed. “I want to play it before I die.”

Curry also revealed she'd love for The Elder Scrolls VI to include more creepy quests, as she's "not good at finding scary games on her own". Hopefully Howard and Bethesda can deliver the goods and dial up the horror for the next Elder Scrolls adventure.

Unfortunately, how soon The Elder Scrolls VI will actually release is currently anyone's guess. We know that the long-awaited sequel to Skyrim will be Bethesda's main focus once Starfield releases next year. For now, however, the RPG remains in pre-production. That means it's at least several years away, and fans are in for a long old wait.

Of course, given just how adored Curry is by everyone at Bethesda, I wouldn't be at all surprised if she ended up getting to play the game before anyone else!
